Carla Dauden
Carla Dauden is a Brazilian director based in LA. She has directed commercials, music videos, short films, and documentaries, having screened her work at major festivals around the world including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Los Angeles Music Video Festival and others.
In 2013, she made a video about the social and political issues behind the organization of the World Cup in Brazil. The video went viral, with over 5 million views, and she was nominated for the Wharton University Social Media Leadership Awards and featured on mainstream channels including BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, Channel 4 News, and many others. She has worked with major production companies and clients both in the commercial and documentary world.
Clients include Google, Disney, Sony Music International, Red Bull Records, Johnnie Walker (Diageo), Golden Road Brewery, Perricone, Output, among others. In 2018, Carla was selected by NALIP’s Latino Lens Incubator with her narrative script for the short film “The Jump,” and she will soon be releasing her first feature documentary – “The Hosts.”
