Gina Papabeis
Gina Papabeis is a Producer with a specialty in socially conscious, world-changing projects.
She is Co-Producer of the documentary The Game Changers, which tells the story of James Wilks — elite Special Forces trainer and The Ultimate Fighter winner — as he travels the world on a quest to uncover the optimal diet for human performance. Showcasing elite athletes, special ops soldiers, visionary scientists, cultural icons, and everyday heroes, what James discovers permanently changes his understanding of food and his definition of true strength.Currently in release, the film is directed by Oscar®-winning documentary filmmaker Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, and Chris Paul.
Gina logged a decade of work with the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS), the filmmakers of the Academy Award-winning® documentary The Cove and Racing Extinction. She was the Co-Producer of the Emmy-nominated film Racing Extinction, which exposes the mass extinction of species caused by mankind, and follows a team of artists and innovators that inspire the world to #StartWith1Thing to address it. She was a Producer of the film’s outreach and impact campaign in partnership with Paul G. Allen’s Vulcan Productions. Gina was also a Producer of the unprecedented large-scale architectural building projections on to the United Nations Headquarters, the Empire State Building, and St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican in connection with the movement to protect endangered species. The projections have had a collective reach of over 5 billion people.
Her work with OPS started during the release of The Cove, managing the day-to-day operations of the organization and coordinating the outreach campaign for the film. Gina is a graduate of Florida State University’s Film School with a minor in Biology.
